Samuel Berman

Samuel Berman joined Fiera Capital in August 2024 as Managing Director, Insurance Distribution for the UK & Bermuda, bringing over 15 years of experience in institutional business development. Based in London, Sam is responsible for overseeing the firm’s insurance distribution strategy in these regions, providing institutional asset management solutions tailored to the needs of third-party (re)insurance clients.

Prior to joining Fiera Capital, Sam was Director of UK Insurance Business Development at Allianz Global Investors for five years. In this role, he led the UK efforts to provide private market investments and bespoke asset management partnerships, working with run-off channels, multi-channel P&C, reinsurance, and Lloyd’s of London markets. Sam’s previous roles include key positions in institutional business development with Kames Capital and Amundi, where he focused on developing the (re)insurance business across the UK and Ireland. His earlier experience at AXA Investment Managers involved insurance sales, particularly within Lloyd’s, non-life, and life insurance sectors.

Sam holds a BSc (Hons) in Advanced Programming & Economics from Bournemouth University.
