Raunak Marfatia

Raunak joined Fiera Capital in January 2019. He focuses on asset management and exits from the existing portfolio and is overall responsible for new investments in India. Raunak’s efforts would be towards identification of niche opportunities for Fiera Asia to participate in India.

Previously, Raunak was at Edelweiss Alternative Advisors where he was a member of their Distressed and Special Situations Platform’s investment team. Raunak’s prior roles include KPMG where he was part of the Deal Advisory practice and with the Essar Group’s Energy Business.  Raunak brings with him a deep understanding of operations and financing of private sector energy and infrastructure projects in India.

Raunak has completed his Masters in Finance from Stern School of Business, New York University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He completed his Undergraduate in Finance from Lancaster University in England.
