Jaewoo Shim

Jaewoo is a member of the Fiera Capital (Asia)’s investment team and is the head of Fiera Capital (Asia)’s Korea office and leads the direct lending team covering investments in Korea. He is a member of the Asian Division’s Investment and Management Committees.

Prior to its acquisition to Fiera Capital, Jaewoo joined Clearwater in 2002 and helped establish Clearwater’s office in Korea.  He is currently based in Hong Kong, and is a Portfolio Manager leading deal teams responsible for originating, underwriting, executing, and monitoring credit investments in Korea.  Prior to joining Clearwater, Jaewoo worked at Marco Polo, an emerging market dedicated investment bank and at LG Insurance as an investment analyst.

Jaewoo is a CFA charterholder, holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from New York’s Stern School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University.
