Alex Short MA

Alex Short joined in July 2017 as an Investment Analyst with the Frontier and Smaller Emerging Markets team.  He focusses on specific markets in Africa, South-East Asia, and Eastern Europe according to the investment opportunities identified by the team.  Alex has travelled extensively to meet with companies and spend time on the ground in the target countries and has developed a deep understanding of the regions in which he operates.

Alex Short is a member of the OAKS Team. 

He holds a BA in Natural Sciences (Physical) from Cambridge University, an MA in Financial Economics from the University of San Francisco.  He has passed CFA level II and is currently working towards becoming a CFA Charterholder.
